The first Butlin's Binkie Bear was introduced to the Butlin's Store in 2011 during their 75th year anniversary to commemorate the late Sir William Butlin, nick named "Binkie". (Sir Billy Butlin's brother). Since then there has been an annual release of the bear featuring a different colour and t-shirt design with the release year. Binkie Bears have become a staple of Butlin's collections throughout the years offering an alternative mascot to that of the famous Billy Bear.
